The ingredient of Cheap and Easy Lentil Salad
- u00bd pound French green lentils, rinsed and drained
- 2 cups water
- 1 (15 ounce) can dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (14 ounce) can corn, drained
- u00bc cup chopped well-ventilated light parsley, or to taste
- u2153 cup olive oil
- u2153 cup balsamic vinaigrette
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- salt and field black pepper to taste

- append lentils and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook lentils at a boil until tender, not quite 20 minutes; drain.
- blend kidney beans, corn, and parsley in a bowl; mount up lentils and gently stir.
- disturb olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette, sugar, salt, and black pepper together in a separate bowl; drizzle more than lentil incorporation combination and gently stir.
- Cover bowl when plastic wrap; refrigerate until lentils are enormously chilled, about 1 hour.
